Daniela Beck, Soprano

About

Daniela Beck is a soprano pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Belmont University, where she continues to develop as a versatile young artist with experience in opera, operetta, and musical theatre.

Daniela’s operatic credits include Maguelonne in Pauline Viardot’s Cendrillon, the Dew Fairy in Humperdinck’s Hansel und Gretel, and Mabel in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance. She has also performed scenes as the Wood Sprite in Dvořák’s Rusalka and Giulietta in Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann. She will soon portray Despina in scenes from Mozart’s Così fan tutte, further expanding her repertoire and experience in comedic and dramatic operatic roles.

Daniela has been featured in the Keith B. Moore Classical Singers Recital for three consecutive years, showcasing her musicianship and commitment to classical vocal performance. She has also achieved recognition in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competitions, placing among the top five in the Mid-South Regional division.

Beyond her performance work, Daniela is deeply committed to fostering community within the classical music world. She currently serves as President of the Belmont Opera Club, where she works to create opportunities for connection, collaboration, and engagement among student singers and opera enthusiasts.

Passionate about both performance and mentorship, Daniela hopes to use her artistry to build community through opera and inspire the next generation of classical singers. With a growing repertoire, strong commitment to her craft, and dedication to the opera community, she continues to pursue opportunities that allow her to connect with audiences and fellow artists through the transformative power of music.
